Our passion was formed when on a quest to find our own beautiful tiny space. Having be disappointing with what the NZ market had to offer, we decided to create Cosy Cabins. Delivery & Trailers
Cosy Cabins offers insured nationwide delivery for your new space. If you prefer a trailer, we can manufacture your cabin on a road-legal trailer. Our high-quality trailers feature a removable sub-frame and jacks, allowing you to easily detach your cabin and use the trailer as needed in your day-to-day activities.

You have complete control over your cabin’s internal layout, and finishes. We offer a range of textures and colours to choose from. If you have specific dimensions in mind, let us know, and we’ll accommodate your ideas. Windows and doors are more complex items and involve engineering so these are changed by negotiation, usually at an extra fee.
Yes come and see us at 31 College Street Motueka to visit our bespoke Offices/Show-home.
They are built to NZ Building code so are designed to outlast 50 years if maintained properly. Portable buildings take more wear and tear than standard buildings, so if transported regular, expect your cabin to start showing signs of needing maintenance.
Absolutely! We can supply working off-grid systems, including solar power, internet, freshwater, and wastewater. Schedule a meeting with us to cover the details.
Our cabins are built using Formance Structurally Insulated Panels (SIPs), ensuring an airtight, well-insulated, and energy-efficient space. This construction exceeds the building code and provides superior thermal performance, reduced noise pollution, improved indoor air quality, and lower risk of mould and mildew. The building contract is structured to protect you at every stage during the building process.
Providing progress payments are up to date, the cabin is yours and will be made available to you should anything happen to Cosy Cabins as an entity. You can sleep easy knowing that that Cosy cabins invest in sound financial and building processes to ensure company stability.
